n the last several weeks Queen Elizabeth has been fighting off a strong cold that prevented her from attending her usual Christmas and New Year church services. It seems that even now the cold has not lessened and this has made the people of Britain concerned.
According to the Daily Mail, the Queen will decide in the next 24 hours whether she will go to the Sunday service at St Mary Magdalene Church on her Norfolk Estate. Buckingham Palace has avoided commenting on her health.
Queen Elizabeth has allegedly been so sick during the holidays that she was compelled to postpone her yearly journey to Sandringham, where she arrived one day later than the schedule.
Elizabeth husband, the 95-year-old Prince Philip also had problems with a cold but he was healthy enough to be present at the church on New Year. As sources close to the royal family say, Elizabeth is troubled by a constant cough and that she did not intend to be a nuisance to her fellow believers in church.
“The Queen does not yet feel ready to attend church as she is still recuperating from a heavy cold,” a statement from Buckingham Palace claimed.
Recently, however, Elizabeth pointed out that she was starting to feel a bit better when she honored a trusted member of her personnel.
At her age, every small welfare problem has to be taken with extreme caution and seriously lest something undesired should happen.
